'Round here

Yikes! So sorry it's taken me this long to post today! Yesterday was my first sewing class, which sent me to JoAnn's for supplies. I ended up spending more than anticipated, so in a flurry of guilt, came home and promptly listed the rest of my shop finds (including Senor Bulldog, pictured above) from last week. Pretty ridiculous.

BUT I got some sweet fabric that reminds me of late-60s patio furniture, an adorable sundress pattern from McCalls that seems doable for a novice like me, and all the tools I need to get started on trying not to screw it all up. I'm hoping to get familiar with my machine tonight by making a little stuffed toy. Hope I don't run out of energy.
